Destructo-Boy

This morning I heard knocking around the time I usually go get Little Man. It wasn't knocking at the outside of our door I realized, it was knocking on the inside of his door. In his attempt to get out of his room, he locked the door. After a few minutes I got him to unlock it so I could go in, and I mentally added "reverse the locks" to our To-Do list.

Then I went to look out his window at the birds, which is what he does every morning. I noticed a little hole in the screen. Many of our screens have small holes in them, most of which were patched at one point, but the patches wear off. Oh no no. This is a 12-inch rip. "I rip it!" announced Destructo-Boy.

ARGH.

The admission of guilt is certainly more T than E.

I second that comment. However, now that LM knows that ripping screens makes E. mad, he'll never admit his guilt again.

When you were LM's age, I went out to get the mail and you locked me out of the house. I couldn't talk you thru how to unlock the door [apparently, either
(1) LM has superior intelligence, or,
(2) your communication skills are better than mine were]
Anyway, my neighbor had a spare key.

Also, you were a bit more creative (less straightforward?) in explaining the distruction - remember the "Kenny has a stinky" story?
