Baby, 3. Parents 1 (Pending)

For the last 3 or so days Baby has decided that he wants a bottle at a crazy early hour. Last night was the last straw at 4am. So today we implemented a new feeding plan (he's on a high protein, low Cheerio diet).

Tonight it appeared that Baby was the clear victor in the War Against the Wee Hours. He was ripping his bib off, refusing to eat. T. safety-pinned the bib on him. Yes Lieutenant Daddy-O, you have won this battle, but the war is far from over.

Well child, you refuse to wear a bib and eat?

Whaddya know, you're much less grumpy with food in you!

If only this one was in focus!

I suppose we won't be the true victors until we get through tonight. But I think things are looking our way.

In other news, Baby is 10 months! We couldn't get him to sit still so T. held him in place then jumped out of the photo just in time.

Hokie Gnocchi

Yes, it rhymes, if you never knew how to pronounce "gnocchi" now you know.

We had gnocchi for dinner tonight and gave Baby his own serving. After a while he got tired of eating so we put his Nuk in his mouth. Then he decided to eat again, and it took a few tries for him to figure out what to do with the Nuk.

A cute Cheerio picture from earlier today, we serve Cheerios at every meal:

Will Blog for Stuff

Another post purely to improve our lot in life. www.blondemomblog.com is having another giveaway, and by posting that here, I get a second entry!

All the cool kids at daycare have Mabel's Labels (www.mabel.ca) on their bottles. Poor Baby just has masking tape. Masking tape that we don't change often enough, so the ladies probably know they're Baby's bottles just 'cause they're so ragged. So wish me good luck in the $25 giftcard drawing!

New Baby

My brother and his wife, Baby's Uncle M and Auntie Em, had a baby on Jan 1. His name is Baby E. We went to visit the new baby and celebrate my dad's birthday last weekend.

I want to be a puppy.

Amusing Ourselves on a Snow Day

Whatever works.

Pick me up, please.

Pick me up, NOW.

Snow!

By the time he woke up from his nap, it turned to sleet. The outfit/ sleet combo contributed to his facial expressions here. The second picture is in mid-tip. The snowsuit is too thick for him to sit for long.

It's the End of the World as We Know It

Not only can Baby crawl like the wind, but he can also do this by himself:

Which also allows him to do this, and throw things on the floor like his wipes and his lotion, instead of napping like he should be:

Can't Wait for Christmas

Baby couldn't wait for Christmas and on the 23rd picked out a gift for himself.

Christmas Pics

Christmas in Georgia was good. Baby perfected crawling just before Christmas which made it a fun trip.

We spent the first half of the week at my mom's, Baby's Grandma's, house. There we had our Christmas morning as well as Christmas dinner with Uncle M. and Auntie E.

Christmas Eve was spent at my Dad's house, Baby's Pop and Abi's house. Also there were Uncle M. and Auntie E., Aunt C. and Uncle P., Uncle T., and cousins B. and D.

As a bonus, we attended a wedding of friends J. and S. the Saturday after Christmas. Friends J. and B. also came into town for the wedding (yes, I cut T.'s head off in the first picture. I was focused on photographing the drink coozies.)
