Look at that, Blogger can post videos now! Even though none of Baby's food requires chewing, he likes to chew it up anyway, and talk about it, too.

Little Curls
Baby was born with dark hair, but it's been receeding in a male-pattern-baldness way since then. It looks pretty normal now, but one long curl above each ear has been hanging on. He finally lost his right ear curl naturally, so I decided it was time for the right ear curl to go.

Don't worry, it was saved for the baby book.

Baby Stats
Updated Baby Stats:
Height: 27 1/2 inches, 90th Percentile
Weight: 18 1/2 lbs, 75th Percentile
Noggin: 100th Percentile
At the pediatrician we ran into a couple who was in our "Prepared Childbirth" class at the hospital last winter. Their baby was born 12 days after ours. She was there to get her 6 month shots, too. The parents told us that she doesn't like shots, and boy were they right. She could squeal! Baby, of course, took it like a man.

Regrets
Sorry for the hiatus from posting. The computer with the pictures on it is currently quarantined from the internet because it has a Trojan Horse.
A picture is worth 1000 words, I know, but I'll give you a few words to tide you over:
Baby is now eating 3 meals of "solids" (squishies) per day. Two with us and one at daycare. He loves it.
Baby gets along well with senior citizens. Instead of bringing dogs into nursing homes, I suggest bringing babies. He was making eyes at a woman behind us in line at the grocery store yesterday, and today we went to the Rec Center and ran into a gang of seniors coming out of the Seniors Lasagna Dinner.
Grandma (my mom) is coming for a visit this weekend. We hope to go to a local pumpkin farm. The pumpkins and livestock alike will no doubt be confused, as it was a very hot summer and early fall, and all of a sudden today it's COLD! Must get Baby a jacket.

Highchair Pics, Saucer Eyes, and a PSA
We used Baby's highchair for the first time last week. Observant folks will notice that his right foot is black: that's because I stamped his foot at 6 months for a frame set we have.
In other Baby news, today when I picked him up at school he had different clothes on than when I dropped him off. I said, "Uh oh" and the daycare ladies said, "Oh yes, and it was a big one!" As I was packing his stuff up, Miss S. said, "You'll want to wash him real good tonight. Between his toes." They said he was in the exerciser, and the poo escaped from his diaper, ran down his legs, and made a puddle under him, which he was jumping in. She said, "He was squishing his feet all around in it." Gross.
Big Chair. Notice who is in position at Baby's foot. Such a smart puppy.
Saucer Eyes. For full effect, click on the picture. I don't love zucchini, but it makes a good beard.
Public Service Announcement: Don't eat this. I've seen it often in the store, so I thought there must be something to it. Well, it tastes like what it is: chocolate with chili peppers in it. Hot chocolate. Our main reaction was, "Why?" We will have to pawn it off on houseguests. Who wants to come for a visit?
