A Plethora of Photographs

Escape Artist. I don't know where he thinks he's going to go once he escapes, but he is determined. He fell out of his infant seat while sleeping the other night (and continued sleeping on his face, wedged between the seat and the crib side), tries to get away during diaper changes and when I put him in his carseat, and in this photo, tries to escape from his Bumbo seat.

Rice Cereal AND Apples. Much better than rice cereal alone, although no less messy.

Too Many Tomatoes

Why yes, that is a 10 qt. bucket of tomatoes. Time to learn how to make tomato sauce.

The Return of Clowney

Clowney is a toy that my brother and I had as babies (There's very creative toy naming in my family - for example Baby has a toy called Mr. Star. It's a star with a face.). We can't find the original Clowney, but thankfully this is the age of Ebay.

Pretty Flowers

Anyone know what the purple ones are? They popped up one day but we didn't plant them.

Red Door

Ta Da! With 4 coats of paint, this thing is always going to be red.

Genetics

Said in our home today:

T: I love our baby

E: He's a great baby.

T: He has a better personality than you do or than I do. How the heck did that happen?

Microfestivus

Yesterday was cooler than it has been recently, still topping 90 degrees. We went to a microbrewery beer festival with Uncle J & Aunt L, and friends J & E.

Tomatoes!

Finally. Our tomato plants are too heavy and knocked down their stakes, so it's hard to find the ripe ones. Next year we'll use stronger stakes. Need to water the garden - extreme heat is making even our squash and zucchini look sad.
